The Commission’s key tasks are to address issues related to developing state policy with regard to the modernisation and technological development of Russia’s economy, to coordinate work of federal executive authorities, regional executive authorities, bodies of local self-government, business and expert communities with regard to the modernisation and technological development of Russia’s economy, and to identify priorities, forms and methods of state regulation aimed at modernising and technologically developing Russia’s economy.
The main task of the Commission is to prepare suggestions to the President of the Russian Federation for developing state policy on forming and effectively employing the Pool of High Potential Managers in the Russian Federation and coordinating the work of federal executive authorities, regional executive authorities, and bodies of local self-government with regard to selecting, training, re-training, and recommending participants in the Federal Pool of High Potential Managers Programme, as well as other issues related to programme implementation.
Commission for the Implementation of Priority National Projects and Demographic Policy is a presidential consultative body established to coordinate efforts of the federal, regional and local self-government authorities, public organisations, research and other organisations in matters related to implementation of the Priority National Projects and demographic policy.
The Presidential Commission for Reform and Development of the Civil Service is a permanent advisory body under the President of the Russian Federation, formed in order to prepare suggestions to the President concerning reform and development of the civil service, keeping the President of the Russian Federation updated on the state of affairs in this area, and promoting the development of the civil service system.
The Commission for Military Technology Cooperation with Foreign States is an advisory and consultative body that prepares suggestions to the President on key aspects of state policy with regard to military technology cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states.
The Commission’s key goals are to summarise and analyse information on the falsification of historic facts and events intended to diminish the Russian Federation’s international prestige, and to prepare reports on this matter for the President of the Russian Federation, to develop strategies for countering attempts to falsify historic facts and events to the detriment of Russia’s interests, and to develop recommendations for adequately responding to attempts to falsify historic facts and events to the detriment of Russia’s interests and neutralise their potential negative effects.
The Presidential Commission for Screening Candidates for Federal Judges is an advisory body under the President of the Russian Federation to help the President exercise his constitutional authority to appoint federal judges.
The Interdepartmental Commission for the Implementation of the National Programme to Assist the Voluntary Resettlement in Russia of Compatriots Currently Living Abroad is a collective body that manages and monitors the implementation of the National Programme to Assist the Voluntary Resettlement in Russia of Compatriots Currently Living Abroad.
The Presidential Commission for State Decorations is an advisory body under the President of the Russian Federation to help the President exercise his constitutional authority to decide on awarding state decorations and conferring honorary titles of the Russian Federation.
The Commission’s key tasks are to summarise and analyse information on the establishment and operation of a nationwide system for identifying and supporting gifted children and teenagers, improving the National Final School Exam’s organisation and the use of the results obtained by students in gaining entrance to vocational and higher education institutions, as well as drafting relevant reports and recommendations for the President; examine the proposals from professional and parents’ organisations on the formation and operation of a nationwide system for searching and supporting gifted children and teenagers, as well as improving the National Final School Exam’s organisation; drafting recommendations on optimising the materials used in the National Final School Exam.
The commission’s main tasks include special (extraordinary) certification of law enforcement staff applying for senior positions; professional performance evaluation of individuals being certified to assess their qualification, based on their service record, task resolution skills, the complexity of their work, including its efficiency and performance; evaluation of personal qualities and professional skills which are required to qualify for the position; preparing suggestions to the President regarding the candidates based on the special certification results; and making recommendations to Russia’s Ministry of the Interior as regards the composition of staff in the Russian Federation law enforcement agencies.
The Commission for Rehabilitation of the Victims of Political Repression is a presidential consultative body that helps the president to exercise his constitutional powers as guarantor of human rights and freedoms in carrying out Russian Federation Law On Rehabilitation of the Victims of Political Repression of October 18, 1991.
The Presidential Commission for Citizenship Issues is a presidential consultative and advisory body that helps the president in the exercise of his constitutional powers regarding Russian Federation citizenship issues and decisions to grant political asylum.
The Commission’s principal duties include examination of candidacies for heads of law enforcement agencies, drafting proposals for the President on candidates for senior law enforcement posts and on extending the service mandates of servicemen, law enforcement personnel and federal civil servants holding senior law enforcement posts; performance assessments for candidates and current holders of senior law enforcement posts, including personality assessment measuring their professional and personal characteristics and compliance with anti-corruption law requirements; other issues concerning the law enforcement agencies’ personnel policy.
